ACTION TWENTY-SIX
Contact Your Elected Official
Your voice is critical in the policymaking process. Get in contact with your elected officials. They should know you and hear from you—often. Not just when you are upset or need something from them, but they should hear from you after important votes, too. Did they vote how you asked and wanted them to? Let them know that you are paying attention and committed to holding them, as your representative, accountable. Save this information so you can introduce yourself to any newly elected officials after November 3.
